Extra help/ Extra Credit

Last week we went over figurative language. Here is a PowerPoint to help clarify any confusion.

For extra credit:

Students can create a book, PowerPoint, slide show, etc.. it must include an example of  all of the figurative language devices that we covered last week. If your son/daughter is not sure please refer to the PowerPoint. Along with the example it must include a picture. The extra credit will be due on Tuesday 21, 2014. 


We will be having a skills quiz this Friday. It will cover the following: figurative language, commonly confused words, "I Have A Dream" speech vocabulary, and analogies.
